ピタゴラスは直径130㎞のクレーター。しっかりとした火口壁を持ち、中央丘が見事なクレーターであることが良く判る。手前の古い大型クレーターのバベジとサウス、右側の不規則な形のクレーターのＪ. ハーシェルも興味深い。
